Nintendo DS New Releases October 22, 2008
Below is the list of Nintendo DS new releases scheduled to be in stores tomorrow.
Backyard Football 2009 - I do not like football, but I like the first version of this game for the Wii, so I have respect for this series of football games, although I seriously doubt the newest version is a must buy until they go on sale when the next year’s version comes out.
Barbie Horse Adventures: Riding Camp - This is a role playing game in which you help Barbie train for horse racing.
Battle of the Giants: Dinosaurs - This is an action game.
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia - This is the 3rd Castlevania game for the DS. It has the new Glyph attack system, which allows for 100 different combinations to battle using.
Dancing with the Stars: Get Your Dance On! - This is a dancing game based on the Dancing with the Stars show.
Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell - In this game you play as Tinkerbell and can customize her outfit and play mini games. Also, it includes DGamer, which sounds like an interesting online concept.
Ener-G: Dance Squad - I am not really sure what this is, but perhaps a dancing game.
Ener-G: Gym Rockets - I am not sure what this game is, but the picture makes it look like maybe its a gymnastics game.
Ener-G: Horse Rider - I am guessing you play as a horse rider in this game.
High School Musical 3: Senior Year DANCE - This is a game based on the upcoming High School Musical 3 movie.
MechanicMaster - This is a problem solving type action game with over 100 levels.
Spider-Man: Web of Shadows - Another Spider Man game.
The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon - This is another Sypro game, but at least in my opinion the Spyro games can be fun unlike the above mention of another Spider Man game.
Tornado - This is an action game in which you are expected to use a tornado to uproot everything from another planet and bring it back to Earth.
Touchmaster II - This includes 20 different games to play and 60 Platinum trophies to try and earn.
Transformers Animated - This is an Action game based on the TV show of the same name.
What’s Cooking? Jamie Oliver - This looks like it is a cooking tutorial thing. It seems like a celebrity version of Cooking Mama and may or may not be as good.
Hm, not a lot to get excited about, although some seem amusing!
I agree. With so many releases I would think I would find one of interest to try out, but I do not have much of an interest any of these. A few I might rent just because they sound so absurd to be games, such as the What’s Cooking one.
